How can we help?

Accessible bills
We can provide bills in braille, large print or over the phone. You can also switch to paperless billing with an online account.

Need to know about planned works earlier?
We can give you a longer notice period and even arrange a personal visit if there's something big happening.

Bottled water delivery

Sometimes we may need to interrupt your water supply. If we do, we’ll aim to make water available using other means by delivering bottled water to your door.

You'll always know it's us calling
If you are concerned about unwanted callers, we can set up a code word so you'll always know it's us calling.

Want someone else to manage your account?
You can nominate someone to act on your behalf.

  • have sight problems
  • are deaf or hard of hearing
  • have home dialysis
  • use a wheelchair or have mobility concerns
  • are a new parent
  • are concerned about unwanted callers

How long will it take me to sign up?

We’ve tried to make the form as simple as possible and it shouldn’t take you more than a few minutes to sign up!

Can I save the form and come back later?

Unfortunately not, however it should only take you a couple of minutes to sign up – just enough time to make a brew!

Can anyone sign up?

Yes, as long as you’re a Yorkshire Water customer, anybody can sign up, but it may benefit you most if you require any of the services detailed on this web page.

Please note, you’ll need to enter a valid email address as part of the sign up and communication process. Don’t have one? Then please give us a call on 0800 1 38 78 78.

Can I sign up someone I know on their behalf?

Absolutely! Perhaps a family member, friend or neighbour require your assistance. Don’t worry if you don’t know their account number, you’ll just need to enter their home address, so we can find their customer details.

Can I leave the register?

Of course! You can level at anytime. Just give us a call and we’ll remove your details from our database. You can always sign up again in future and you’re free to sign up either on a temporary or permanent basis.

How can I make sure it's Yorkshire Water who are visiting me?

Set up a free security password enabling you to confirm a caller’s identity. For your own safety, always ask for proof of identification. All Yorkshire Water colleagues and partners will carry identity cards displaying the holder’s photograph.

If you have any doubts, you can call us on 0800 1 38 78 78 to check the employee number printed on their card.
