Moving within the UK
If you're moving within the UK, you can close your account using our online form.
Moving outside of the UK
If you're moving abroad, you'll need to request a free call back and we'll take care of the rest.
Selling a second property
If you're selling a second property, you can let us know using our online form.
When you get to section 4 and the form asks for your new address, please enter your forwarding or permanent address. When asked "Will you pay the bill at your new address?", select "no" if you already have an account set up for this address.
Responsible for two properties at the same time?
If you're going to be responsible for two properties at the same time - for example, if you're completing the purchase of a new home before you sell your old one - you'll need to use our new customer form to tell us when you're getting the keys to your new home. When you're no longer responsible for your old property, let us know by filling in the closing an account form.
Closing an account
If you're no longer responsible for paying the water bill, you'll can use our online form to close your account.
