Paying your water and sewerage bill can be really easy. In this section you can pay your water bill online, set up a Direct Debit, choose a payment option that's suitable for you, or ask to see a copy of your most recent bill.
You can find this at the top of your last bill or letter that we sent you. It's the long number that we need.
You can pay your water bill here by debit card (Solo, Maestro, Visa and Delta) or by credit card (Visa and MasterCard).
Please note: Customers paying by credit card will incur a bank handling fee.
To use this form you will need to configure your website browser so that cookies are enabled. Most browsers will have them enabled by default but if you experience any difficulties please refer to our quick guide on the right hand side for how to enable cookies, or search the help tab on your browser if you're struggling to find the option.
We're really sorry but if you're wanting to pay on the 18th January between 7am and 8am you won't be able to as our payment service is getting some much needed tender loving care.
For most browsers, you will able to set your configure your cookie settings in your internet options. This is often located under Tools -> Internet Options and can be amended in the privacy tab.
If you receive a rateable value bill, you can pay:
• In full on April 1st.
• Half-yearly on April 1st and October 1st.
• By 8 or 10 instalments.
• By fortnightly or weekly instalments, if you’re on a low or fixed income.
If you receive a meter bill, you can pay:
• Quarterly when you get your bill.
• By up to 12 monthly instalments on a Payment Plan.
• By weekly or fortnightly instalments, if you’re on a low or fixed income.

There are plenty of ways and places to pay your water bill. Take your pick from the following:
The easiest way to pay your bill is by Direct Debit, whether you have a rateable value or meter bill and whether you wish to pay your bill in full or by instalments. Where possible we offer a choice of payment dates. There are no queues, no counter fees and no postage costs, if you pay this way.

Sign and date the correct payment slip and hand in the whole bill with your payment. Please make cheques payable to Yorkshire Water and write your customer reference number on the back.
Please advise your bank to pay Head Office Collection sort code 57-49-55 and ask them to quote your customer reference number. If your bank requires a bank account number, please ask them to quote 11111111.

Please don’t send cash or postdated cheques.
You can pay free of charge (cash only) at any PayPoint outlet.
If you have a payment card, simply hand in your card with your payment. Alternatively, fill in the correct payment slip and hand in the whole bill or payment booklet with your payment.
Payment can be made free of charge at the Calderdale Local Authority cash office. Please make cheques payable to the Local Authority and write your customer reference number, property name or number and postcode on the back.
