We can confirm that we have lifted the boil water instruction at all affected properties in the local area as the water is now back to our usual high standards. Customers can now use their tap water as normal.
We’d like to apologise to everybody impacted and thank them for their understanding and patience throughout.
FAQs:
Will people be reimbursed if they bought bottled water?
As customers were able to consume water after boiling, we will not be providing reimbursements for bottled water at this time.
Will I be compensated?
We’re really sorry and we understand how inconvenient and frustrating the boil order will have been for our customers. At this stage, we won't be offering compensation as customers were still able to consume water after boiling.
What about businesses? Will they be compensated if they had to close?
Compensation will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
I am unwell and live in the area affected, what should I do?
