Helping support the Everyone, Everywhere campaign
Water is literally everywhere - it makes up over half of our body weight and is even found in food such as tomatoes and cucumbers.
It's a fascinating subject for both children and adults - for instance did you know that millions of years ago dinosaurs may have drunk the same water we're using today?
This section is devoted to all things water - how we collect it, treat it, consume it and dispose of it. There's useful information for teachers and parents, as well as fun games and activities for children.

Did you know that water makes up 80% of our brains? Most people don't! Water is often something that can be taken for granted, and a lot of people don't realise the importance of it in their day to day lives.
With the population set to increase by 855,000 in Yorkshire within the next 25 years, saving water is vital to our environment. Getting kids to learn about the importance of saving water is a challenge, that's why we've come up with a fun online game in which you design your very own water family to live in a virtual home and learn all about saving water.
We want to make sure that parents are aware of just how important how important water can be, so you can help educate your kids with all the right information.
Whether it's help with their homework or you're just looking to learn a bit more about water, you'll find a whole host of useful advice in this section that you can adopt from day one. Take a look at our learners section to see what interesting facts you can find out.
Welcome to our school zone! In this section, you'll find out how you can bring your classroom to life, full of intuitive and interactive ways that you can help immerse your pupils in the world of water!
Developed for Yorkshire's finest teachers, we offer help to design interactive lesson plans that cover all the important subjects - the water cycle, renewable energy and water conservation, all key parts of the current school curricula.
We're working closely with WaterAid to ensure we that we help provide safe and clean water to everyone, everywhere by 2030.
We're committed to support WaterAid and the work they do to help the poorest communities across the world, with a joint 5 year plan to support the delivery of safe water and sanitation to 20 towns in Ethiopia.
