Could you save money on your water bill? Find out at Yorkshire Water’s bill support roadshow

Yorkshire Water is hosting bill support drop-ins in Rotherham to help customers understand if they can reduce their water bills and receive immediate financial support.
Customers are invited to join Yorkshire Water colleagues in Rotherham opposite Nationwide between 10am and 2pm on 14th March 2026 to enjoy a hot drink and see if they can get support with their bill or be signed up for the priority service register, which offers additional support to customers with a range of specific needs. Customers can also find out about local infrastructure schemes and wider Yorkshire Water projects.
Across 11 events last year, customers saved £43,000 on their water bills by signing up to financial support schemes they were eligible for.
Angie Markham-Nock, affordability strategy manager at Yorkshire Water, said: “We know that some of our customers are struggling with their bills, and will find increases to bills unmanageable, and this is why we are visiting communities with low levels of uptake of our financial support schemes to discuss the support we have available.
“Last year we had some fantastic success stories from these events - one family in Bradford was able to save £700 on their annual bill by registering for WaterSupport, another will save an estimated £600 by having a meter fitted, whilst one customer in Doncaster saved £400. We’re so pleased to be able to bring these events back and hopefully support many more of our customers.”
By April, 250,000 Yorkshire Water customers will have received support with their bills – amounting to £60m in support. By 2030, over £375m will have been delivered in bill reductions and debt support.
Money from customer bills, as well as shareholder investments and borrowing, is used by Yorkshire Water to deliver infrastructure improvements. Over 200 infrastructure improvement projects were completed in 2025 to help improve Yorkshire Water's performance and customer service.

Further bill support roadshow events are planned for Hull on 19th March, 26th March in Leeds and 28th March in Scarborough.
