Tonight, we're making some emergency repairs to a burst water main which may affect water supplies across Harrogate, Knaresborough, Ripon, Boroughbridge and surrounding areas. The water main on Harlow Moor Road burst this morning and our teams have been busy trying to repair this throughout the day without impacting water supplies. However, they have been unable to do this, so we have made the decision to do the repair overnight to minimise the disruption to customers.

The work may result in some customers experiencing interruptions to their water supply while our teams work to resolve the issue.

The areas that may be impacted are:

HG1 1, HG1 2, HG1 3, HG1 4, HG1 5, HG1 0, HG2, 0, HG 2 7, HG3 1, HG32, HG3 3, HG3 4, HG3 4, HG3 5, HG4 2, HG4 3, HG5 0, HG5 9. YO51 9.

We’re proactively delivering bottled water to customers who are on our Priority Services Register.

Harrogate District Hospital is not in the impacted area.

We’re working hard to get the repair fixed as quickly as we can and we’d like to apologise for any disruption this causes.
