Your Yorkshire Water, Your Say – Thank You for Taking Part
What is “Your Yorkshire Water, Your Say”?
Your Yorkshire Water, Your Say is our programme of live online events where customers can directly challenge our CEO and Executive Team. These sessions give our customers the chance to raise concerns, question our decisions, and put forward the issues that matter most — with unfiltered, open discussion. They are designed to strengthen transparency and accountability, ensuring we respond directly to customer challenge.
Our latest events have now finished
Thank you to everyone who joined this year’s sessions. Whether you took part live, asked a question on the night, or sent something in advance, your challenge and feedback are vital in helping us understand where customers want us to go further, faster, or differently.
We’ll be hosting more Your Yorkshire Water, Your Say events next year so keep your eyes peeled for those.

A Heartfelt Thank You for Joining “Your Yorkshire Water, Your Say”
from Nicola Shaw, CEO, Yorkshire Water
Thank you so much for taking the time to be part of our recent “Your Yorkshire Water, Your Say” sessions—whether you joined us live, asked questions directly, or submitted them for an answer.
Your input means a great deal to us. Every question you shared has now been answered and is available below, except where we need a little more information to provide a full response. These conversations help us learn, improve, and stay focused on what matters most to you.
We’re committed to making the investments that will transform Yorkshire for the future—delivering better services for our customers, protecting and enhancing our environment, and ensuring Yorkshire thrives for generations to come.
I hope you found the session valuable and enjoyed being part of the discussion as much as we did. Your voice helps shape the future of Yorkshire Water, and I’m grateful for your time and effort.
Warm regards,
Nicola Shaw
FAQs
I can’t make the event. Can I submit a question and still get an answer?
Yes you can, all questions submitted ahead of the event will receive a response in writing.
I can’t make the event. Will you put on events like this in the future?
We’re hoping to host more events like this in future, particularly if we receive a good level of interest in this event. We’ll be sure to communicate news about any future events planned.
Why are you hosting this online and not in person?
We want the event to be as inclusive as possible and allow customers from across Yorkshire to attend. Therefore, for these events, we felt Zoom would be the most accessible platform for most customers. If the events are well attended we may consider options for face to face events in the near future.
What if I ask a question and it doesn’t get answered at the event?
All questions submitted will receive a written response after the event. We will aim to answer as many questions as we can during the event, covering a range of topics.
I don’t have Zoom, can I join the event another way?
We have chosen Zoom as this platform can be easily accessed through a range of devices without having to download the application. You can join the Zoom meeting through your browser.
What topics will be covered during the event?
We welcome questions on anything you would like to ask about Yorkshire Water! Our CEO Nicola will give an update on our progress and performance as well as our current activities and future investment across Yorkshire.
How can I join the Zoom events?
We want to make sure this event is independently and unbiasedly run, so we have enlisted the support of DJS Research, an independent third party organisation.
Is there a registration fee for attending?
No, the event is free to join. All customers are welcome.
Aside from Nicola, who else will be there at the event?
At the event, additional directors from Yorkshire Water will be present to respond to your questions. DJS Research Ltd., an independent third-party research agency, will facilitate the sessions and manage the selection of questions to be addressed during the evening.
Will the event be recorded, and can I access it later?
No, the event will be recorded in order to create a transcript for reporting purposes only by DJS Research. The recording will be deleted after a transcript for analysis in order to protect participants anonymity and privacy.
How can I provide feedback after the event?
