'Soak it Up' school competition terms and conditions

ELIGIBILITY

1.1 Entry is open to pupils of the participating schools only.

1.2 Employees of Yorkshire Water and any associated group companies and their immediate families are ineligible to enter. Any such entries will be invalid.

1.3 The closing time for entries is 17.07.19 23:59. Any entries received after this time will be disregarded.

1.4 Entry to the competition must be by the applicable method and in accordance with the deadlines as indicated above.

 

ENTRY METHODS

2.1 To be entered into the competition, entrants (pupil or parent/guardian on their behalf) must send their photograph to the pupil’s school for submission to Yorkshire Water.

2.2 By the pupil (or parent/guardian) submitting their competition entry photo, they are consenting to this being used by Yorkshire Water for media purposes and on external and internal company channels.

 

PRIZES

3.1 Entries from all participating schools will be pooled and Yorkshire Water will select three winners based on the creativity to win the specified prizes detailed. 1st prize £150, 2nd prize £100, 3rd prize £50 (Love2Shop vouchers). 1st prize winning school also gets £200 book vouchers.

3.2 The winners will be notified on the date the winning entry is selected w/c 22.07.19 or as soon as practical thereafter. 

3.3 The prize will be given to the winners via the most appropriate means, as decided between Yorkshire Water and the school.

 

STANDARD TERMS

4.1 In the event that any entrant does not or is unable to comply with these Terms and Conditions or the Competition Information, Yorkshire Water shall be entitled at its sole discretion to disqualify such entrant, without any further liability to such entrant. Entrants must comply with any directions given to them by Yorkshire Water including in relation to any and all relevant laws, rules and regulations.

4.2 These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and you and we submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England.

4.3 Yorkshire Water reserves the right to withdraw or amend any competition or prizes as necessary due to circumstances outside its reasonable control.

4.4 The decision of Yorkshire Water in all matters is final and no correspondence shall be entered into.
