Planned works at Robin Hoods Bay pumping station

We're currently doing some essential planned maintenance works to upgrade our pumping station in Robin Hoods Bay. We're replacing equipment deep underground to enhance the performance and reliability of the pumping station, and this ensures we minimise the likelihood of environmental pollution and future prolonged reactive maintenance.

We have to keep the levels in the pumping station low at the moment to complete the work so we're using tankers to take away waste water so that it can be treated. We hope to be finished by the end of the week and in the meantime we'd like to thank residents for their patience while we undertake this work.
