Closure of North Road

From Monday 16 October for a week, we’ll be working in a small section of North Road (B1362) close to the Mausoleum and Pastures Fish Pond in Halsham. We’re working with the local Highways department and for safety reasons, this section of North Road will be closed to through traffic during this time. 
A fully signed diversion route will be in place and access will be maintained for residents. Access to Dalton Lane won’t be affected but vehicles will have to follow the diversion route. 
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Buses and school buses will follow the diversion route; local schools are aware of the closure.

Once the work in North Road is complete, there won’t be any more road closures as part of this project; the teams from MUS will continue to lay the new pipeline towards Rimswell.
Refuse collections won't be affected so residents can please continue to put bins out as normal.
