Catchment Management

Dockfield Road, Shipley

We’re busy responding to an emergency issue with one of our main sewers that runs under Aireside Road off Dockfield Road in Shipley.

Local residents and businesses may be disrupted whilst we carry out this very important work and a road closure is in place along Aireside Road for safety reasons.

Our tankers are diverting waste water flows to try and prevent waste water from entering the River Aire and they will be doing this from Aireside Road and Station Road in Esholt.

We’re sorry for any noise or localised disruption our tankering causes but this is essential to protect the river.

Our contract partners, Barhale, will be working over the weekend and into early next week to get the sewer repaired. They’ll be working longer hours to make sure we get the work done as quickly as possible to minimise disruption.
