Getting in touch with us
We know this is a really challenging time for everyone. It is for us too.
We play such an important role in maintaining Yorkshire’s public health and we don’t take our responsibility lightly. We need to protect our colleagues so we can keep Yorkshire’s taps flowing and toilets flushing.
To help us do this we’ve paused all work that isn’t absolutely necessary, so we can support all our frontline colleagues in supplying excellent quality drinking water and treating wastewater safely.
You can find all the ways you can still get in touch with us below.
If you or any of your family or friends need a little extra help due to particular health issues, please make sure you’re signed up to our Priority Services Register. By letting us know about your needs and circumstances, we can do our best to support you. You can also sign someone up on their behalf if they don’t have access to the internet.
If you’re self-isolating and you’re worried about what you’d do if your water supply was interrupted, please get in touch and we’ll do our best to help. If you’re otherwise healthy and don’t normally need extra support, there’s no need to join our Priority Services Register.
Struggling with bills?
We’re still here to help where we can, but instead of giving us a ring please fill out this form and the team will be in touch to help.
While our phones are unavailable, please use our online form to set up or change a Direct Debit.
Roadworks & incidents
Find out more information about improvements and incidents in your area or any planned roadworks that we are carrying out that may affect you.
Discoloured water is normally short lived and can often be cleared by allowing the first incoming cold water tap to run for five minutes.
Do you have hard water? Find out more about the water hardness in your area with Yorkshire Water.
Call us in an emergency
Please only give us a ring if it’s an emergency. Our teams are really busy so we’re trying to focus on helping those who need us most. If you’ve got issues with your water supply, your home’s flooded with sewage or if you’ve spotted pollution please let us know. If it’s something that can wait for a little while, make a note of it and get in touch at a later date when we’ll be better placed to help.
Our phone number for an emergency is 0345 1 24 24 24
