Water is wonder stuff, that’s why we're proud to play water's role in making Yorkshire a brilliant place to be whether; that's supplying clean water or taking wastewater away. But we can’t do it alone. That’s why we’ve launched our water saving promise.
We’re asking businesses across Yorkshire to sign up to our new water saving promise and save it where you can. By signing up to our new water saving promise you’re committing to making water saving part of your business.
Business usage accounts for nearly a third of all water usage in England and based on current forecasting it's estimated that the UK’s water demand will outweigh supply within the next 20 years. That’s why saving water is really important; to help the environment and to make sure there's enough for everyone.
It’s won’t cost you anything to sign up, in fact, it could help you save money. Just a few regular changes to how you use water, big or small, can make a big difference.
All businesses that sign up to the Water Saving Promise and saving as much as they can, will receive an acrylic plaque to mount in your reception or office space, a digital logo and downloadable water saving tips.
