Over 50,000 blocked sewers prompts ‘3Ps’ toilet reminder

Number of customer complaints drop

The amount of written customer complaints to Yorkshire Water dropped to 7,228 cases in 2014/15, according to the water sector watchdog the Consumer Council for Water.

Blue whale sized screw pumps to be fitted as part of Hull's £16 million flood protection scheme

Yorkshire Water is about to reach a major milestone on its plans to install a new state-of-the-art surface water pumping station to provide protection to around 15,000 properties in Bransholme and Kingswood.

Action taken to protect Hull, Ouse and Derwent rivers from slug pellet contamination

Yorkshire Water is calling on local farmers based on catchment land surrounding the Hull, Ouse and Derwent rivers to carefully manage the use of slug control pesticides in a bid to reduce the impact they have on drinking water.
