Yorkshire Firefighter’s Receive Water Networks Awareness

New ‘no dig’ technology to add 75 years lifespan to underground infrastructure

We now plan to utilise a new ‘no dig’ pipe lining system to increase the lifespan of our underground sewers and water mains by up to 75 years.

25,000 free tickets available for Hull 2017 fireworks display on first night of Made in Hull

25,000 free tickets will be available for the fireworks display on the opening day of 'Made in Hull', the major event that launches Hull UK City of Culture 2017, which gets underway on Sunday 1 January.

80th anniversary of trig pillar monoliths that helped map Yorkshire

It has been revealed by Yorkshire Water that there are 454 trig pillars still standing in the region, 80 years since the first one was built by ordnance surveyors to help map Great Britain.

Yorkshire Water colleagues help the RSPB give nature a home at Fairburn Ings Nature Reserve

We believe the best way we can make a real difference to Yorkshire communities is through volunteering. So, in September this year we gave 36 colleagues time off from normal duties so they could help out at RSPB Fairburn Ings nature reserve.
