Essential sewer improvements, Burley in Wharfedale

This week, Yorkshire Water have started a £114,000 project to reduce the risk of sewer flooding to local properties in Burley in Wharfedale. The sewer that runs under Back Lane is in poor condition so the company are going to line part of it.

North Road in Halsham to be closed for one week as part of water main renewal project

As part of a £3.5m scheme by Yorkshire Water to lay a new water pipe from Burstwick to Halsham,  from Monday 16th October a section of the North Road (B1362) in Halsham close to the Mausoleum and Pastures Fish Pond will be closed to enable contractors to safely lay new pipework.
