Yorkshire Water recruitment open evening

Yorkshire Water is hosting an employment opening at its Buttershaw site (Bradford, BD6 2SZ) on Thursday 18th July as it looks to fill a number of roles so the firm can continue provide top class service for its customers.

The event is on from 6pm until 9pm and tea, coffee and sandwiches are available.

These field- based roles will be working in our operational teams to improve customer service and waste network performance (pollution and flooding).

The role:

Working outdoors, you will work as part of a team to respond, investigate and resolve issues specific to the waste water network.  The role will include driving and operating state of the art jetting and vaccumation vehicles. If you don’t have experience of this already we will provide full training. The working patterns for these roles covers 6am-10pm including standby (working 10pm – 6am).

What are we looking for?

  • Excellent customer service skills
    A strong health and safety focus
    A full valid EU driving license (some roles will require a Class 2 driving qualification)
    Effective team player
    Experience of evidence capture and feedback
    Ability to find faults and diagnose the root cause of an issue
    Ability to influence outcomes and make decisions
