Roadworks on Flamborough Road (B1255)

Flamborough Road (B1255) is currently fully closed whilst we carry out emergency repair work to a burst water main.  We hope to have this complete and the road fully re-opened and back to normal by the end of tomorrow (Saturday).

In the meantime, a traffic diversion route is in place. We would like to thank motorists for their patience whilst we carry out this essential repair work to maintain drinking water supplies.

Diversion route details:

Motorists traveling from Bridlington to Flamborough: left turn onto Jewison Lane, right turn onto Newsham Hill Lane into Bempton, right turn onto Flamborough Road (B1229) and follow onto Bempton Lane into Flamborough.

The diversion route is vice versa for vehicles traveling from Flamborough to Bridlington.
