An important change in the way we market biosolids
For over 20 years biosolids have represented an essential part of our recycling operation, signifying a real commitment to support local farmers by supplying a fantastic product that delivers real environmental benefits when recycled to land.
We really want to continue to build on the great relations we have established with farmers over the years and improve the level of service we offer. We are also committed to operating sustainably whilst not compromising on the quality of the product we offer.
In order to do this we are implementing a significant change in the way we operate. Since the early 1990's we have been able to offer a soil sampling and delivery service free of charge. Unfortunately, due to continuing rising costs it is no longer sustainable for us to operate in this way and from November 2012 we will be introducing a modest charge for all our biosolid products.
Whilst we understand that this may disappoint some of our long standing customers, we believe that our product still represents excellent value for money and offers a more cost effective solution than alternatives such as non eco friendly fertilisers which continue to increase significantly in price.
Our new biosolids recycling service will be operated by Robinson Contract Services (RCS) who have over ten years experience in helping to recycle biosolids to agriculture. In addition to continuing to supply a product that offers a valuable source of plant nutrients, trace elements and organic matter, this new partnership will enable all our customers to have a dedicated account manager who will be able to provide a more personal and enhanced level of service that will include the provision of agronomic information.
