Which pipes are your responsibility
In the event that the cold weather causes a burst water pipe that affects your property you need to first identify where the leak is coming from and take the appropriate action.
The location of the leak will determine who has the responsibility for repairing it. As a general rule, we're normally responsible for all pipework to the boundary of the street where our water main is laid - this includes water mains, stop taps in the road or pavement and pipework between the main and the boundary of the street.
