Image of treatment worksOver the Summer we've been giving customers the chance to visit our treatment works across the region.

The tours have given customers the chance to cross the wire and examine our sites at close quarters. In total we delivered seven events over 60 days and had over 8,000 customers and 279 stakeholders through our doors.

If you didn't manage to book on a tour of our works, don't worry you can still see how your water works by watching this video.

280,000,000 litres of waste water per day equivalent of 112 Olympic swimming pools goes through our Esholt works.

Hilary Benn MP officially opens our visitor centre and also unveils the £75 million investment we've made at our Esholt waste water treatment works to further improve the quality of water returned to the River Aire.

Really worthwhile.  Tour staff were excellent and will come on another tour - thankyou

As you can see from some of the visitor comments, our tours to date have gone down really well.  We asked a few customers to tell us what they thought about our tour at Albert Water Treatment Works - watch our video to see what they said...

An all round interesting day out, well worth the early rise!
