Our water resources management plan
We're setting out our strategy to maintain supplies of drinking water over the next 25 years.
It shows how we plan to respond to development and growth in Yorkshire in a way that is sustainable while maintaining our current level of service to our customers.
Our approach
Our plan takes into account forecast changes in population, housing, water use and metering trends and incorporates future pressures driven by predicted changes to the climate.
We don't consider any parts of the plan to be commercially confidential either for us or for any third party, therefore we've published the complete plan. However, sensitive site specific information has been removed or presented in a non specific manner in the interest of national security. This includes maps, diagrams and descriptions of sources of water supply and treatment works.
We've made all our documents available as pdf downloads and these include our Final Water Resources Management Plan and data tables.
You'll also find the Strategic Environmental Assessment of our Final Water Resources Management Plan. This includes the environment report, statement and an addendum which describes changes made since our draft plan. These documents look at the potential impact of our plan on the environment.
