Heavy rainfall impacts on Yorkshire region

Information for customers experiencing flooding.

Due to heavy rainfall some customers in our region may experience flooding.  We advise customers should take the following action:-

• If your property floods from the public sewer, please contact us on 0845 1 24 24 24  - please note we cannot provide an emergency response to emails.
  
• If your property suffers any internal damage or requires cleaning, we advise you to also contact your insurers immediately to arrange a professional clean up.
  
• If flooding occurs outside your property, please wait for the rain to stop as the excess water is likely to drain away as the weather improves.  However if you're still concerned, please contact us on 0845 1 24 24 24. 
  
• If the flooding is coming from a watercourse, such as a river or stream, please contact the Environment Agency on 0800 807060 or 0845 9881188.
