We're proud of the excellent quality of drinking water we supply in Yorkshire and carry out over 450,000 tests on water quality each year. To ensure we maintain and improve drinking water quality in the future, we'll be spending around £247m on upgrading our treatment works and refurbishing over 1,200 miles of water mains during the period 2005-2010.
