Your placements

We believe that practical experience is really valuable, so to give you the best possible grounding in your chosen area we like to give you a fresh challenge every few months. 

To facilitate this, the programme will involve a number of structured placements which meet the needs of the business whilst providing you with great experiences that will help you to achieve your aspirations and goals.

What are structured placements?

These may involve shadowing team members in their day-to-day role on operational or head office sites, contributing to regulatory deadlines, or working on business-critical projects. These provide you with an understanding of your business area as well as how they inter-relate with the wider group, our customers, our regulator and other water companies. The placements will give you an overview of the areas in which you would like to take your first substantive role.  You'll also have ongoing discussions with your sponsoring manager.
