Meter outreader
Our meter outreader makes reading your water meter easier and provides valuable and easily accessible water use data. It could be the first step to effectively controlling your water costs.
The outreader can highlight unusually high readings at an early stage -an indication of a potential leak on-site. It's installed in a lockable watertight unit making it much simpler to read and eliminates health and safety risks to staff as they don't have to lift heavy meter lids or bale out flooded chambers to take a reading.
Meter outreaders come with a full 12 month guarantee and a battery life of approximately ten years. We ensure that you understand how the unit works at the time of installation and, if you do experience any difficulties, the guarantee ensures that all problems are quickly rectified.
There are three types of installation;

Standard installation - includes the supply and installation of a unit fitted within a three metre radius of the meter chamber via a wire, usually onto a nearby wall.

Non-standard installation - the installation of the outreader beyond a three metre radius of the chamber (a small extra charge is payable per metre).

Bespoke installation - if the above installations are not practical we can quote to fit the outreader at a requested location.
