Love your loo
To celebrate the fact that the average person spends three years of their life on the loo, we're wanting to find out just how much the region's folk love their toilet.
To do this we're launching 'Loo've been framed' - a competition to find the region's most kitsch and chintzy lavatory.

Any photos we receive will be added to our website where the public will then be able to vote for the region's 'fanciest throne'

Why are we searching for Yorkshire's loveliest loo? 
People often take great pride in their homes, including their bathrooms, but we sometimes neglect the things the that are out of sight and out of mind like our drains.
Each year we fish out all sorts of things from our sewers including false teeth and even unwanted Christmas presents which people flush down their toilets. Although it sounds funny, it can lead to blockages in our sewers and flooding.
We've put together a series of short videos starring our friend and foe Numptee, which show you just what can happen if we put the wrong things down the loo or sink.
