Yorkshire Water's Education Centres Get Seal Of Approval

Three of our education centres have this week received a national accreditation from the Council for Learning Outside the Classroom commending both the quality of teaching and learning experiences at the centres.

Recreation website wins 2 golds

Our recreation website which showcases leisure activities at our reservoirs across Yorkshire has won 2 gold W3 awards, recognising creative excellence on the web.

5 CIPR Yorkshire Pride Awards

A hugely successful night saw us pick up a Gold award for 'Best Website' at the Regional CIPR (Chartered Institute of Public Relations) Awards. We also won awards for our ongoing One Million Green Finger's initiative which was celebrated with silver awards for 'Best Use of Community Relations' and 'Best Use of Corporate Relations', whilst our Yorvision conference, held for colleagues in 2007, won a silver award for 'Best Internal Communications'.

Outstanding UK In-house Public Relations Team

At the National CIPR (Chartered Institute of Public Relations) Excellence Awards 2008, we were crowned 'National in-house PR team of the Year'.
